The Basics of Mineral Makeup Application
Before applying your mineral makeup,
cleanse your skin and make sure your moisturizer is completely absorbed. Your skin should be clean and dry for the optimal performance of your Everyday Minerals
Flawless Foundation.
1. Place in Lid
Place a small amount of your mineral makeup powder into the lid.
2. Infuse
With your Kabuki brush, infuse the powder into the bristles by either tapping
the brush gently into the powder, or using a repetitive circular motion.
3. Less is More
Tap your brush on the side of the lid or jar to remove excess powder. Remember,
less is more. You can always reapply more layers to achieve
increased amounts of coverage.
4. Buff In
With gentle circular strokes, work in your Everyday Minerals Flawless
Foundation along your jaw line and inward toward the center of your face.
Re-apply according to the amount of desired coverage.
To achieve the most flawless finish,
apply your mineral foundation in several light layers until you reach your
desired coverage. Just keep in mind that with mineral makeup, less is more.
Blending is crucial for achieving a natural flawless
look. Always remember to blend foundation into your hair line as well as your
jaw line, neck and décolleté.
If you don't blend smoothly through your jaw line, you'll look like you're
wearing a mask - so blend, blend, blend for that natural flawless appearance
you want!
Top Tips
Chalky? If your
foundation gives you a chalky appearance, it is too light for your skin. To correct
this, simply blend it with a darker shade of mineral foundation until you have
just the right shade.
Fine Lines?
If fine lines are accentuated, your foundation is too dark for your skin. If
you find this to be the case, simply blend with a lighter shade of foundation
to achieve the perfect complexion.
Too Red? Use mint color corrector to cancel
it out.
Too Sallow?
Use lavender color corrector
to perk you up. Before applying your mineral make-up, lay at towel down and set your make-up on it. This will help control the dust that it creates when you swirl your brush into the lid.

Tips for Choosing Your Foundation
Choose the
best shade for you. Everyday Minerals has categorized your foundations under
three groups:
1. Cool
foundation shades are based on reddish and blue pigments. Look for the blue
dots!
2. Warm
foundation shades are based on yellow and peach pigments. Look for the yellow
dots!
3. Neutral
foundation shades are based on brown and neutral pigments. Look for the white

How to Clean Your Makeup Brushes
Cleaning
your makeup brushes is easy.
1. Shampoo
your brush by gently lathering in a small amount of your favorite shampoo with
your fingers.
2. Rinse
your brush thoroughly under running water.
3. Repeat
the process until there is no visible makeup in the brush and the water runs
clear.
4. Dry your brush
by running the bristles across a clean dry towel in a uniform direction. This
will help bring the brush back to its proper shape. Then lay your brush out on
the towel overnight to dry.
Your brushes will be ready for use in the morning!
For best
results, we recommend cleaning your makeup brushes every 2 weeks - or more
often depending on usage.
